How Deceit works.

Deceit names what manipulation costs. This is the front door: stories, patterns, and resources. The fiction carries its provenance. The real resources are reachable. Everything here can be questioned.

What the work does

▌Names recurring patterns in propaganda, fraud, coercion, and protection systems.
▌Separates observation from interpretation.
▌Points readers to sources, verification tools, and practical exits.
▌Uses fiction to make mechanisms visible, never to present invented events as fact.
▌Does not target private individuals, encourage harassment, or treat a pattern match as proof of intent.

A note about trust

Deceit does not ask you to trust the project completely. Check the sources. Read the limits. Look for what would change the conclusion. A trustworthy room leaves the door open.

The boundary is part of the work

The fiction may use the language of control to show how control sounds. The Covenant, the Engine, the future history, and the transmissions are invented. Use them as prompts for questions and source checking, not as evidence of a hidden regime.
